Preparation

Patients must fast before the test(you can still drink water).
Patient must bring two slides of bread, utensils and microwavable bowl
You will be asked to eat a egg sandwich with a radio-pharmaceutical prepared by our technologist and drink some water. Next, the nuclear medicine technologist will assist you to lie on a flat table and will position you under the acquisition camera for 4 hours. It may take longer or shorter depending on how quickly the food leaves your stomach.
