Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT)

The PET/CT Scan is a non-invasive nuclear medicine study that produces three dimensional images that can identify abnormal changes in the metabolism of the cells of the human body.

Common Uses of  PET/CT 

• Evaluation of the patient body to identify cancerous lesions and metastasis.
• Evaluate response to treatment.
• Detect recurrent/residual tumor prior to surgery or additional treatment(such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy).
